Our nucs are all honeybee colonies grown here in Camas, WA with locally bred queens. Our bees do not go to other states for pollination services.
Each nuc consists of 5 frames including brood, a healthy population of bees, a locally bred queen. You can choose from an overwintered queen that was bred in 2022, or a 2023 queen. Nucs with 2022 queens will be ready for pickup in early April. Nucs with 2023 queens will be available in late April to early May. Will will be in close communication about the pickup dates and times as the season develops, as it is largely based on Sring conditions.
We gaurantee that your honey bee colony is in good health and well prepared for explosive growth in the Spring. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your nuc, please contact us within 30 days of pick-up and we will make it right.
These are not available for shipping and must be picked up in Camas, WA (address to be provided) on dates and times specified.
We have very limited reservations for overwintered queens, and 2023 queen nucs will be available in the order they are reserved.
The remaining cost of the nuc (the remaining $140), after this deposit is paid will be due upon pick-up of your new honey bee nuc.
